Bonne hearts weddings

Hello darlings,

I will be on vacation in the coming days.  But before the long break begins, let me share a little feature on Wedding Essential's webzine called We Heart Weddings.

“Vintage-themed weddings are HOT for 2010 and what screams vintage more than fascinators, right? For those who aren’t familiar with the term, according to Wikipedia, a Fascinator is a headpiece or a style of millinery. The word originally referred to” Fascinating Fascinators by Bonsai Fojas

Many thanks to Cynthia Arre for this lovely online feature.

See you next week!

bonne shoot

It's fantastic to have beautiful, talented and supportive friends.  This makes each and every shoot I've ever done worthwhile. Thanks especially to Mica for telling me that I can do it.  From that one fab shoot sprung a whole set of shoots with people that I adore and admire.

Because I am too excited to wait for all the photos.  I'm sharing with you just a couple of teasers -- two new shoots we did just 1 week apart, with my most fabulous friends.

Alice

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"

I made these Alice-inspired headbands after watching the Disney cartoon for the nth time.

So here I am as Alice and my handmade silk ribbon headband.

I also made a blue version. using art deco print silk ribbon. You may also check out my online shop.
Or send me a message for more details.
