I'm back from the long break.  It felt really good to be away from technology and recharge for five full days.  I just enjoyed the sand and the sea at my sister's in-laws' little island getaway.  Many thanks to the Miller Family for their warm hospitality.

I came home ready to finish a whole list of headpieces for weddings and whatnot. My favorite was working on a completely hand-sewn headpiece using pink Charmeuse fabric.  I will post photos as soon as I'm done with it.  :)  Although I find pink too girly for my taste, this shade of pink (especially in Charmeuse) is beginning to grow on me.

I am praying for sunny weather all week so I can finally enjoy the beach :)  

I will be on vacation  and digital detox from April 4-9.  Feel free to send me an email for any queries that you may have.  I will try my best to answer them all as soon as I get back.

Summer is finally here! And although the weather has been quite schizophrenic lately, with sudden shifts from sunny to rainy,  I always try to wear something that can adapt to it.   A favorite piece of mine, which I take with me on hot and cool (or rainy) weather is a Bonne turban.

For urban dwellers, like me, it's the perfect piece to wear on "lazy hair days" too!
