Baby is now a Lady

My baby cousin Christine turned 18 a few days ago.  She asked team fab to help her with her 18th birthday photos.  Thank you, Mica Tuano for the make-up and Cholo Dela Vega for taking these fab photos.  Christine, I can't believe you're 18 already! Happy birthday, travel buddy!

I made this headpiece for the Sassa Jimenez Holiday Collection 2011.  I took the inspiration from Sassa’s vintage 20’s look and created a hand beaded piece that took me 2 days to make :)   You will see it on the runway on Saturday May 14, 530pm at the SMX Convention Center.  Please do come!

Philippine Fashion Week!

Hello my darlings! My head candy will be sashaying down the runway of Sassa Jimenez's 2011 December collection.  This is my first ever collaboration for Fashion Week and the first time my headpieces will be seen on the runway.  I have seen some of Sassa's pieces and they are absolutely fabulous! I am so happy to be a part of her show :)

"I had the craziest dream last night. I was dancing the white swan."

I've been looking forward to sharing this latest fashion shoot! These fantastic photos were taken by photographer Romain Rivierre. His lovely wife, artist Tanya Escaler doubled as model and Creative Director for the shoot.  Mica Tuano did the Black Swan-inspired make-up and doubled as a model (of course) My lovely sister, Gail Miller posed as Mila Kunis and feathered head candy, styling and modeling by Bonne as well :)

We had to do a lot of ballet moves, twirling and bending to get some of the shots right.  And Romain, I have to say, these are fabulous!

Thank you team fashown! These turned out lovely and well within our "Black Swan" vision:)
