Bonne Bouquet for Heidi

My third Bonne bouquet was made as a gift for one lovely bride.  Her friend Roxane, (who also gave Bonne bridal head pieces for her two other friends see here) commissioned a bouquet set in powder blue and gray tones with bejeweled brooches.

I was happy to receive her sweet email along with beautiful photos from her wedding.

 I think it's cool that she opted for a gray wedding gown by Mel Orlina -- quite unconventional, especially in our very conservative Filipino culture.

I'm back from the long break.  It felt really good to be away from technology and recharge for five full days.  I just enjoyed the sand and the sea at my sister's in-laws' little island getaway.  Many thanks to the Miller Family for their warm hospitality.

I came home ready to finish a whole list of headpieces for weddings and whatnot. My favorite was working on a completely hand-sewn headpiece using pink Charmeuse fabric.  I will post photos as soon as I'm done with it.  :)  Although I find pink too girly for my taste, this shade of pink (especially in Charmeuse) is beginning to grow on me.
