A little lady turned one last weekend.
Baby Maya had a lovely tea party and wore a pearl headband 

with cotton-candy inspired applique, silver french netting and white feathers.

THE FAB TURBAN

VOGUE 70'S

The turban was popularized as a fashion accessory during the and 40's by glamorous hollywood celebrities.  It made a comeback in the 70's and in 2007, Prada reintroduced the turban on the runway.  For Spring/Summer 2011 it has made another comeback,  sashaying on the runway of designers like Jason Wu and Bianca Jagger.

Perfect for bad hair days, windy days and rainy days. Keep your locks in perfect place by slipping this over lightly tousled hair or while donning a ponytail.  To add a touch of glamour, wear it with a pretty brooch pinned to the front band.

Marie Antoinette

I am currently working on headpieces for a wedding in October.  The client wanted a Tiffany Blue and Pink set for her entourage. I immediately thought of Sophia Ford Coppola's Marie Antoinette as inspiration.

Tala the Faerie

My  4-year-old niece loves to play dress-up. Naturally, she had to wear something cute for  an enchanted-themed party.  She wore a pink and purple tutu I made especially for her.

 Leaves were embellished by her mom, by hand.  Bravo!

I love hearing from my fab clients.  Seeing this in my inbox today made me smile:
Hi bon!  How are you?  This is CJ from Cebu City. I wanna thank you again for helping make my prenup and my wedding perfect. We did a vintage movie inspired shoot from different decades...we did atonement, grease, chicago, hairspray...and I wore one of your headbands during the hairspray shoot.  And I just wanted to share with you some pictures of us during the hairspray shoot. Thank you so much, the headband was just right with the outfit. 

I will send you pictures of the wedding soon, your birdcage veil that I wore and the headpieces that my entourage wore were so beautiful.  A lot of guests commented on how lovely the headpieces were.  Thank you again.  I will be sharing with you pix of the wedding soon, if you don't mind.
