Bonne with Club 8 in Manila

"Have you seen the movie, Alice in Wonderland?" 

ME: Yes 

"You know the mad hatter?" 

ME: Yes 

"Do you feel like that?" 

ME: Sometimes 

CLUB 8: LAUGH 

 "I like your hat." 

Me: (trying not to burst) "I made it."

KAROLINA: "Really? Do you have a website?"

I WANTED TO FAINT

NEW ON BONNE

Here's one of the last few pieces I made for summer.  

A combination of hand sewn matte sequins, peacock feathers 

with cool blue, purple and green feathers over a sparkly green headband.

Check out Bru Sim -- a fabulous artist and other half of Electrolychee. What I like about her work is how she experiments with different mediums and incorporates hand embroidery with her paintings. In her latest work, Bru used india ink and watercolor on acid-free paper to create fashion illustrations.  What caught my eye this time? Well, some of them had hats -- fabulous hats!

Wedding Wonderland

 I'm done with 3 and working on 5 weddings.  So far, so good. 

Here are a couple of  headpieces for 2 separate weddings. 

Black all-feathered fascinator with birdcage veil for the entourage.

A rose bridal headpiece with feathers and veil.

Tutu yummy!

Made this tutu skirt for a client's prenup shoot. It's a combination of soft tulle and hard tulle fabric with lining.

It's so yummy, I call it strawberries and cream :)
